welcome to clout. by using clout, you agree to these terms. if you’re using clout for a company, you represent that you’re authorized to bind that company to these terms.
accounts & eligibility
- you must be at least 13 to use clout.
- provide accurate information and keep your account secure. you are responsible for all activity under your account.
- if you connect third-party accounts (e.g., google), you authorize us to access and use information from those services as described during the connection.
acceptable use
- don’t break the law, infringe intellectual property, or collect prohibited data.
- don’t abuse the platform (spam, malware, denial of service, scraping without permission).
- don’t attempt to bypass security or rate limits.
- respect recipients and obtain consent where required (e.g., for marketing emails).
your content
- you own the content you submit and the data your respondents provide.
- you grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your content as needed to operate the service.
- you are responsible for obtaining necessary rights and for your compliance with privacy laws as a controller for respondent data.
plans, billing & refunds
- some features may require a paid plan. prices and features are described in the app or on our site.
- subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. you can cancel anytime; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- refunds are handled case-by-case where required by law.
intellectual property
- we own the clout service, including software, branding, and design. these terms don’t grant you rights to our trademarks or logos.
- feedback is welcome. by submitting feedback, you grant us a royalty-free, worldwide license to use it to improve clout.
privacy
our privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data, and how you can exercise your rights.
security
we take security seriously and implement industry-standard measures. you can help by using strong passwords and enabling available security features.
availability & support
- we strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- support channels and response times vary by plan and are described in the app or site.
disclaimers
clout is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
limitation of liability
to the fullest extent permitted by law, clout and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, even if advised of the possibility. our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amounts paid to us for the service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
termination
you can stop using clout at any time. we may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if necessary to protect the service. upon termination, certain sections survive (e.g., ip, disclaimers, liability, governing law).
changes to these terms
we may update these terms from time to time. if changes are material, we’ll notify you in the product or by email. continued use of clout after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
governing law
these terms are governed by the laws of portugal, without regard to conflict of laws principles. courts in portugal will have jurisdiction, except where local laws require otherwise.
